Rest in Peace to a local Ottawa legend, Sesame One - aka. Da Hole, aka. DJ Danja aka. Sammy. He was taken from us too soon and will be surely missed.
He will be remembered as a handstyle master. His tags and bombs had a certain style that was unmatched by anybody else in the city, and were always in prominent spots downtown. Many writers were, and many up and comers continue to be influenced by his style, his drive and his legacy.
Our condolences go out to his family, friends, and his DBS Brothers. You are not forgotten, and know that your name will live on.
Below is a small sampling of some photos of him and some of his work over the years. I'm sure I have more photos I will dig up, as I comb through the Keepsix archives, but here is a sampling of photos from myself (Sneak) and various other photos from online for you all to enjoy.
